Diane came to Millinery after a lifetime love of arts, design and sewing. A four year diploma course in Millinery at Melbournes Kangan Batman Tafe fired a passion  for designing and creating hats. Through work experience, and paid work  with some of Melbournes finest Milliners of the time,  Diane honed her skills further in blocking and traditional Millinery techniques. Diane continues to learn through workshops and classes whenever she can, keeping her work fresh and on trend.

Based in the North-East suburbs of Melbourne, Diane creates bespoke and ready to wear millinery with age old Millinery techniques and uses modern, and traditional materials in her work.  For the past 3 years Diane has taught the beginner and advanced certificate of Millinery courses at Melbourne School of Fashion. Diane also teaches privately for groups or individuals wanting to learn the art of Millinery.

Diane Kilduff, designs and makes all of the hats and headpieces under the Hatiness label.

Each season brings a ready to wear range that is available through selected boutiques, and, private consultations, by appointment, are always welcome.

Diane has a comtempory style and enjoys working with her clients to design and create the perfect compliment to any outfit.   From the small, elegant cocktail piece to the large spectacular crowd stopper, at Hatiness the focus is on  quality and customer satisfaction.
